An animal rescue boss has said she bears no grudges against police who raided her centre two years ago, despite them being the same force who called her out to save an injured swan this week.
Lindsay Newell, owner of Burton Wildlife and Rescue Centre, was unable to save the bird, which had been hit by a vehicle on St Peter's Bridge but said she was not surprised that staff at Burton Police Station called on her because they have done so previously, despite raiding her centre in 2012.
